Our wonderful summer intern, Abby, made five delicious varieties of goat cheese today: chive, dill, pepper, cilantro, and plain. They were all incredible! You'd never know it was her first time - she's a natural.
It was a beautiful day to take the crew out for some milkweed picking at the lovely Loewenthal Prairie in Argyle, WI. This place is gorgeous! We could have spent the whole day out there getting lost in its beauty and wonderment. We had another great time at the Lambs & Lettuces Festival this year. We had various activities throughout the day, including wool felting, spinning wheel demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, bluegrass music, a potluck dinner and a big bonfire in the evening (we add to a brush pile all winter for this!). |
